Chair’s Message

Hello Brantford,

What a summer! Despite the “craziness” of COVID, the weather was fantastic and I hope everyone took full advantage of it. I also hope everyone is happy and healthy as we continue to navigate through these strange times. The Centre is starting to slowly open back up. The management and staff have implemented additional rules/guidelines to keep everyone safe.

The Board has been creative this year in finding solutions to keep our fundraising events going. With the help of social media we have been able to offer a virtual Charity Motorcycle Ride and Chase the Ace. We are also working on a modified Heroes Walk and Roll coming up for the month of October.

I would like to thank the staff at Lansdowne Children’s Centre for all that they do and the support they provide to the children and families in our community. Also a big thank you to both of our Boards for the time that they volunteer to help enhance the services offered by the Centre.

Stay safe, and don’t forget, winter is right around the corner so enjoy these last few weeks of sun!
